Rather than taking my time and asking around first, I put down a deposit on a Metallic Mineral White 2013 E92 which looks to be in fantastic condition.

It's got 17k miles on it with the following options (though I'm not sure all of them are options!) - Black Novillo Leather, High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, Extended storage, Sun protection glass, Enhanced Bluetooth telephone functionality, Heated front seats, BMW Assist, Voice control system, 19" M Double-spoke alloy wheels.

I got it for £30.5 which I thought sounded like a good deal. So just wondered if I've jumped the gun and I could've got the price down further or not?

(Oh and hi to everyone)

Cheers, thought I should have haggled much more..

What would reckon it's value considering it's a used/approved motor?

Prices seem to be going up*, the last few months so looking at what's below the £30k threshold on the AU site ,and with mileage often in the 40k's, I think this was a well priced car, being one of the last and with low mileage even for it's age.

I don't think you would have got this one below 30k at least not until it had been on sale a while, by which time I think someone else would have picked it up.

Assuming it is the one I am thinking of, had I the money and could stand white (Mineral is the better I guess) then I would have gone for it.

  • as an example back in Feb, I considered a manuall 09 with less than 30k miles at around 23k. Cars with 45k plus miles are being listed around 24-25k now!!
Anyways even if I am wrong who gives a donald duck, enjoy it when you get it and in the meantime watch this video smile

Sounds like a pretty decent deal...prices for late cars with good mileages are pretty firm.

Perhaps you should have "Procrastinated" over the purchase price, sorry terrible pun but it it was crying out to be said.

Anyway, enjoy your car.

biggrin You're too late, that's the very reason of my user name, too grown up nowadays but occasionally I go mental within reason!

So I picked it up today, full tank of petrol in it and the car was supagard'd FOC so I was happy with the dealership (though it's now half a tank biggrin)

So many smiles coming back home today. The many reviews I've seen online about the sound being anodyne compared to the e63 just feel like nonsense. The roar from the engine was epic. I've been to silverstone for the F1 when they were using v8 engines and that's what the noise in a way, reminds me off.

When I parked up I was surprised how much heat the engine was giving off but I suppose that's to be expected from a v8.

What a beast of engine!

Enjoy it. Great cars. M3 V8 Facebook group is good as is M3 Cutters. Just don't mention actuators to anyone.

Sounds like a good deal to me at that mileage....they are great cars.
I would suggest fitting Michelin Pilot Super Sports to the rear (if not already) it transforms the way the car drives.
