Is the F8X M3 really that bad?

F80 M3 width = 1877mm
E92 M3 width = 1817mm

It is not narrower....

M3 maybe, but I was talking about normal 3 series. The F80 is a monster for width...but that's a good thing!

His doesn't have many options. I am surprised it has the HUD display! I don't know what his choices would be with a stock system

I know motoring journalists can be a notoriously fickle bunch but I see in the latest copy of EVO that they rate the 2018 Model Year M4 Competition Pack ahead of both the C63S coupe and the latest RS5 (and "way out in front", not just better by a little bit). Several comments in the article to the effect the current car is very different to drive from the original launched a few years ago which may or may not be true; however, whatever the tweaks and changes the latest version sounds a very desirable car!
