It's not often you see either of these up at auction- it will be interesting to see what
they go for.....

There's clearly good money to be made from the auction business these days! hehe

Fair play to them - their classic auctions have really captured a corner of the market that wasn't previously catered for.

The 1M actually made £47,750 incl buyer fees (about 43k net to seller) and the GTS made £131,000. 1M feels quite a full price, but the GTS is on the low side?

Given they belonged to the owners of the auction house, I suspect the seller's net return looked a little closer to the hammer price. But I agree - £48k feels toppy given how long they seem to be sitting around at the dealers.

Why do they quote £50,137 on the website if the price was £47,750 inc buyers commission ?

As stated, I doubt any sellers fee apply......many auction houses are very flexible/negotiable with sellers commission
if the car is a decent one-least of all if you own the auction house.

Yep, i sold mine with 9k miles over a month ago and the dealer still has it (and has just cut the price). When prices took off toward the end of last year, it brought out a lot of sellers. Asking prices have been way above the selling prices achieved and even franchise dealers will drop several thousand to get the sale,, at least in my experience. 1M a great car though. GTS reviews seem poor, and maybe thats why the selling price appears on the low side? (and as a previous post mentioned, the sellers description was somewhat bizaar - maybe he was very confident of a high price anyway?!).

Edited to add that the £47,750 came from the horse's mouth - not sure what's on the website.

1M price - Odd! - that's not what they told me. I do suspect the website is wrong though, because that price seems quite rich. (i stand to be corrected :O)
