F10 M5 gear change exhaust crack

I am struggling for consistency - 1st to 2nd in S3 Sport+ manual change at 5.5k & resulted in more of an explosion than crack - then tried doing the same thing again & hardly anything !?

I am also getting this quite regularly.

2nd to 3rd, with 30-40% throttle at around 5k rpm in practically any setting, just as long as in manual mode. Sounds like an explosion. I figure i must be some excess fuel burning off in the exhaust rather than an turbo blow off

Now try timing it with a tunnel for bonus points!

First or second gear - accelerate to point of spinning wheels, change up
