I use mine a lot to transfer addresses to the sat nav, other than that I don't think in 10 years I've ever used it for anything else.

£120......not sure to be honest.

Worth it when combined with dragondrive to reply to texts and emails on the go! All via dictation, eyes on road, hands on wheel at all times smile

I do that with Siri all the time and it doesn't need connected drive.

And it's free wink

Real Time Traffic Information - definitely want that, but £120 is a bit steep, especially now that they are ditching "Internet"

I'd say gimmick, my smartphone on the dash is far more useful.

It is steep, but I rely on the RTTI quite a lot.

My E93 M3 had about 3 months subscription left when I got it.

I had a play with it at first, but the only really useful feature to me was the ability to send a destination to the satnav, and that certainly isn't worth £120 a year to me (especially as the car is an occasional-use toy rather than a daily driver, and I mostly tend to use Google Maps on my phone as it has much more up-to-date traffic data).

You need to subscribe for the RTTI?

Had this discussion elsewhere, but i thought the only Subscription services were Internet at around £90 per annum & BMW Music (like Apple Music)? I had Internet for the first 2 years but didn't renew this year & no interest in BMW Music as i use Spotify. I didn't think Connected Drive was a subscription, however i've noticed certain Con Drive features for me have become unusable such as Calendar, Twitter & the car now doesn't integrate text messages whereas before a little envelope would appear on the screen to show i'd received an SMS & i could view it or the car read it out. I still see RTTI in the Nav screen though & the car still offers diverted routes so that must be working OK.
