How much discount do you guys get from BMW dealers or any other seller?

I though that 10% off the asking price would be "common"... it does look like I'm so mistaken!

I think the reality is New buyers get huge discounts in the £15k-20k territory at times and possibly some think that when they sell they will easily sell to a private buyer and the cost of ownership isn’t too bad is depreciation isn’t a killer. However used buyers know about the big new sales discount + buying privately at those £ numbers are so risky most do not buy apart from AUC/dealerships.

I've managed to sell mine eventually but it's been hard work dealing with all the plebs.

The F10 is a great car but hard work selling.

What's not helped me is the market has seen a glut come for sale in the last month as owners no doubt trading in/upgrading to the new M5

Given I saw the for sale ad originally I’m guessing £2.5-3k in a month —— gulp.

I dont think that is too bad at all. A three year old M5 is still depreciating at £600 plus per month.

I also think the pre-LCI cars at at a difficult point as the overall cost difference for an LCI version is reducing.

I do hope you're right!

I have had mine for 14 months now, I'm probably going to keep it for the long term... you don't go into buying an 18 month old M5 without expecting to take a pretty big whack of depreciation.... Still makes me grin every time I drive it, what an awesome car BMW can make when they put their minds to it.

Agree absolutely. Bought mine when it was 9 months old, 9months ago. I intend to keep it for at least another couple of years and then look at how far F90 prices have come down with a view to moving on up.

What about upgrading to a completion pack or even better the 30Jarah?

Currently on the market for next car, considering an F10 M5, anyone selling please PM me, with warning I am very fussy and very spec hungry.

I don't have an f10 m5 but have an M6 GC...

Initially I didn't like it but it's grown on me massively

Its ferociously fast when you use the revs and handles amazingly ...esp for its size but it handles full stop ie it doesn't need the proviso "For it's size "

Loving it but it needs an exhaust in my opinion to bring it properly to life

Sounds fishy.

32k for a 65 plate is a good price though, halibut a good deal.

Oops price slightly out but to me seems hugely pricy & personally I’d not want a zero option car

I bet that's the sole car at that price...
