M4 : no indicator flash when activating / deactivating alarm

Hi all. My boss has a new M4 - but the indicators don't flash when activating / deactivating the alarm with the key fob as they did on his old E92 M3.

Is this normal ?

Likely to be a setting accessed from the idrive. This is the case on the 5 series. Doesn't flash for unlock though.

Hmmm. I drive. Maybe. Why no flash for unlock anymore ?

My mistake, it does flash on unlock as well.

If not in iDrive can be coded by anyone with an ICOM cable and ISTA/P software.

Have done it on older cars (E46, E92, E82) using older BMW standard software,
