Is the Z4M Coupe going to follow the Z3MC in price..?
Discussion
I don't understand the talk of poor build quality in the z4mc
I just bought one and its rock solid, no rattles or squeaks and good quality materials.
Back to values, I market watched for months and can confirm good ones (between £18-£20k) are selling, I missed a few. Some are being advertised north of £25k with tiny mileage but these were out of my budget so I can't comment on these.
The cars are awesome and imo look amazing. S54, manual, quite rare (and I suppose will get rarer), full M division car. I think it has the ingredients for potential classic and future appreciation.

You may find that now, but if you like to drive quickly on B-roads you'll find it'll rattle, squeak and knock in no time. The plastics are quite hard and have little give - it's the B pillar and boot plastics particularly rather than the cabin (in the main).I just bought one and its rock solid, no rattles or squeaks and good quality materials.

You can get a good example for £20K.
They look great, fun to drive and not so common.
I did about 40K in mine and every journey was an event.
Cars like that appreciate but it will be a while before we see them at serious price levels.
I'd agree with this, there are some cars with unusual paint schemes or low miles that sometimes appear over the £25k mark. Roadsters seem to go for significantly less money than the coupe - lots of these for sale at the moment with high miles. They look great, fun to drive and not so common.

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/family/bmw_m_coupe (371 + 124 = 495, dropping by approx 1% pa)

Until I checked, I thought there were several thousand of Z4Ms - apparently not.

A Google search revealed this...

It looks like there were 1054 Z4M (RHD) Coupes built, but nobody has been able to find the number in the UK.

That's interesting.... so out of the 821 MC's 326 have now gone M/// heaven....Cheburator mk2 said:
For sure... I think the interior of the Z3M is superbly resolved and the quality is a lot better than the Z4M, but the driving experience in a standard Z3M is definitely pants compared to a Z4M
And I used to have this one...

Would love to hear more about that car - is there a build thread? And I used to have this one...

What body kit is that - is it a Hamman from bumper/splitter I see. The side sillls look deeper - OEM aero or something else?
Never seen front wings like that either.
I think the z4mc will be solid investment over time but I don't quite think it will hit the heights of the z3mc . I think the bread van will end beng up their with the e30 m3 in the next 10 years . It's all about the looks with these cars and nothing looks anywhere near as cool as the z3mc .
One of my biggest regrets is selling mine , I hope one day I'll have another . The z3mc and the Honda S2000 are to of the best cars I've ever owned for different reasons.
I currently drive a e60 m5 but doesn't compare to the drama of a breadvan

There is no built thread as it was build by G-Power to participate in the German Tuner Grand Prix at Hockenheim where it came 2nd. What body kit is that - is it a Hamman from bumper/splitter I see. The side sillls look deeper - OEM aero or something else?

Every single component on the car was modified. Running a 9:1 compression and a ASA Supercharger at 1bar it made 500bhp. 6-speed E46 M3 box with electric pump and radiator. Stronger Differential with electric pump and radiator. Porsche brakes all round. Recaro SPG buckets and Heigo Cage, AC Schnitzer suspension, Carbon fibre front wings made by AC Schnitzer, CF front splitters made by AC Schnitzer. Breyton wheels. The list goes on and on...
