M2 is ugly. Short and stumpy. Looks like a midgets car and by midget I mean those adult midgets.
M4 is best looking BMW by far.
Latest M3 is a bit ugly too. Looks more M2 than M4.
Funny you should say that because the majority of people prefer the look of the M3 to the M4. Me not included BTWM4 is best looking BMW by far.

There must have been something wrong with yours. Mine is alright from low down, a bit less so than my RS3 was, but doesn't really get going until you're over 4500. The way it builds to the redline was a real selling point for me, worth revving out, which I wasn't expecting from a turbocharged engine (this is my first BMW mind)
There was nothing wrong with it per se. But the power after around 4000 rpm tails off fast. Then there’s a blip of power around 7000 which is too late. I suppose it all depends on what you are used to. I’ve had a lot of cars. Most pull more and more through the rev range, unless they are diesel. I am probably in the minority who just couldn’t see what all the fuss was about. Power-wise, it’s so so, compared to other cars I’ve owned between 350 and 400bhp. For me it was one to try and I’m glad I did. The Evo X 400 I had a while back would slaughter it in every department. Whilst giving 4mpg, granted.

For me the biggest let down with the M2 is the seating . I appreciate the CSL ( or whatever its going to be called is) will have a more stripped out interior but these days a bucket style seat for real driving enthusiasts is a must .
I've never seen one with decent seats . Was that an option ?

No seat options. It’s ultra tough Dakota leather only. Next year’s model will have options. I've never seen one with decent seats . Was that an option ?

At the money I'd rather buy a 981 Cayman that has been specced with buckets .Porsche always have a good, albeit it expensive, options list

So you don’t drive a Focus then? The buckets on the RS got a slating from Evo recently on the basis that they weren’t hugging the floor pan. I liked them on the test drive. Higher mileage might have changed my mind.I've never seen one with decent seats . Was that an option ?
Noting that Evo have a Fetish in this area, what is it you see as being desirable in a car seat? I’ll go first: in the right place relative to the controls, and supportive.
Just to be clear - if it is in the right place relative to the controls and supportive, I really couldn’t care less how high it is above the floor.

Actually I don't own a focus but currently a boxster spyder. Noting that Evo have a Fetish in this area, what is it you see as being desirable in a car seat? I’ll go first: in the right place relative to the controls, and supportive.

I like the focus RS and the M2 very much it's just I'm used to GT Porsche cars and I love the seats they offer with those cars.
You're right the recaros in the focus are set way to high so you need to get the seat lowering kit fitted to be , as you say, nicely in line with the controls .

You'd think if Renault can manage Recaros in a Megane for £25k less than an M2, BMW might be able to do a bit better.I've never seen one with decent seats . Was that an option ?
