I'm taking delivery of an M2 in March and I've just spoken to my local dealer regarding the service plan.

The service plan costs £800 if you buy it within 60 days of date of registration of the car and includes the running in service, 1st and 2nd service within 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever is sooner.

If you purchase a service plan over 60 days from date of registration the cost is £990 and the same services apply and mileage or time frame.

You also don't have to buy the service plan from the dealer you're buying the car from. I am buying the M2 from one dealer and thr service plan from my local dealer. My local dealer couldn't get me a car before Q1 2018.

Not sure why you would buy the service plan from a different place to where you bought the car. The plan covers any BMW garage.
I would hope so as I've bought the car new in Edinburgh (pick it up next Saturday) but live in Surrey so will use a local dealer smile

How was the drive back? I pick mine up next week from Peter Vardy, Edinburgh... I’m based in Kent

Dealer says the £800 was a discounted price for 2016 only, so if you buy the plan in 2017 it should be £999

One point to note is that oil top ups are free with a service pack, I've used it a few times with my local dealer on my 135i and it always comes back valeted. Think oil top ups will be more regular with the M2.
