Officially I am an old age pensioner, bus pass, winter fuel allowance. Little old for my mid life crisis, in any case I have had severL of those in the past hehe
Now find a M3 in my garage, alongside my classic volvo of course. I will reach the grand age of 66 years in May, oldest M3 owner on this forum?

Nothing wrong with that, you might well be, least you can use your winter fuel allowance for £200 worth of Super unleaded, and its still a fuel!! wink

biggrin sounds good, and I can discard my bus pass. win win. My M goes in next week for the three oil leaks to be repaired. I will get some pics to post up. I really like the colour mystic blue and grey interior which I know isn't to everybodies taste but even my lad likes it. Just as well because he is going to be buying it from me in a few years time!

Fair play to you smile

My dad sounds a similar age to your good self and has smoked around in his Z1 for the last ten odd years and can be regularly seen having a spirited drive in my CSL.

There certainly is...

Thank you,he was a lovely guy and a real PH,he also had a BMW motor bike...! He drove to Le Mans a couple of times in the car,and kept every single invoice he had ever spent on it,when my wife and i collected it we just couldn't get away talking about the car and the adventures he had in it...

Last year I got talking to an old German guy and his wife at a service station who were driving the latest M5. He told me he was 70 and had owned one of every version of the M5 that BMW had so far made. Seemed like a seriously cool person.

Great, I hope I am still enjoying M cars in my later years!

I have a friend in his mid 70's who owns an E36 M3 Cabrio.

He also has an E38 750, 728, Z3s, a Z4 and numerous E36s!

his latest car plan is to build an E36 track car for use at the Nurburgring!
