M6 GC - Used Prices
Discussion
What are peoples thoughts on prices? Wanted one since it was released
I remember approx 9 months ago there were a handful of really nice examples around the 43-45k at dealers, I fully expected by this point I could pick up one from a dealer for 40k, nice spec, low millage etc
Im clearly wrong looking at the available stock.
Noticed prices have firmed up quite a bit for the F10 M5, is it just due to lack of stock in circulation or something else.

M5 or M6 not selling? The WBAC offers for mine have gone up a couple of grand recently, and that's down to the auction data.
Perhaps due to the slow realisation that these are going to be the last rear wheel drive M5s / M6s to be produced.Just a thought.....
Yes every M seems to be the last of something

Could be, however there was a huge batch of ex-lease cars hitting the market this time last year.
This. The crazy cheap 2yr leases around in 2013 which ended in late 15 / early 16 with a rash of not well specc'd ones coming back to dealers.
Also the LCI M6GC only came out july 15 and that included for "free" about £10000+ of stuff that was previously cost options, so an LCI car is much better VFM (if you can use M6 and VFM in the same sentence) (PS I run a 16 M6GC)

What are they like to live with on a day to day basis? Expected mpg/tank range etc? Any big service items that need to be factored in if your going for a car with 10-20k miles on the clock? Just sold my C63 and looking for something that can carry the family around in comfort and also put a smile on my face. I do not want to buy another SUV. Also looking at the RS6 Avant. The M6 GC or RS6 would be replacing a 535d M Sport. Before the usual comments of "you shouldn't be asking about mpg and running costs if your considering an M6" start to come through...I am not bothered about mpg having owned a E60 M5 and C63, but I am interested in going into any car purchase with my eyes wide open. The crazy cheap 2yr leases around in 2013 which ended in late 15 / early 16 with a rash of not well specc'd ones coming back to dealers.
