Anyone know where there are M3 Touring demonstrators available London SW and Surrey area, my dealer is claiming they don't exist and still trying to sell me one, not sure I want to spend that much money having not tried one.....

I had similar on a much smaller scale (price) I went to see a motorbike and said to the dealer that I needed to sit on it to see if I would fit - I said do not worry about a test ride today though as the weather is terrible - he said - I do not allow test rides anyway...not sure how I was supposed to know if I wanted to buy that bike...that was £10k...I would not spend £100k (or £1200 pm) on the M3 without trying it even if I had a current shape 3 series.

BMW UK always kept a fleet of demo cars for dealerships to borrow. I think there was a small cost to them.
I got an X5M to try for a weekend which was brought in specially for me. I was a good client of the dealership though.

Short message about the M3 Touring... My daily driver is a manual M2 from 2016 and normally I don't like big and heavy cars; I test drove a M3 Touring last week and besides the numbers the car is utterly amazing! Also; I see no comparison with the M340i Touring that I drove some time before. I don't understand people say an M340i is a mini M3. Yes the M340i is fast and has power...but that is all that the car has in common with the M3 > https://www.instagram.com/p/C3vJ-q5C0Ib/?igsh=amJ0...

That looks to be specced exactly like mine, and you are in Belgium too... And nice to hear something positive about the M3 Touring for a change!

I have to agree, having run a 2022 340i touring for most of the last year and covered approaching 20k miles in it, I changed to an M3T a week ago and have managed several hundred miles in it - it does feel like a totally different car - not appreciably quicker in a straight line (though I'm still in running in phase so not really ringing it's neck yet) but in terms of it's handling, ride and stopping it's a totally different car. Best get the running in service done asap and see what it's really like now!

I run an M5C but also have an M340i Touring which I love. That said, I'm sure the M3T is in a completely different league and agree they look great, especially the rear. I think it just demonstrates that no matter how good an M lite car is, they'll never match the abilities of the full fat M equivalent.

What would you do if the car arrived and you found it too stiff, couldn’t get comfy in the seat or found the power delivery weird?

I have test driven cars that I thought I was ready to buy and been disappointed with the test ride so bought something else.

Has anyone gone from a C7 RS6 (with DRC) to an M3T? How have you found the ride from a daily driver perspective?

Finally took delivery of mine mid week, Alpine white, ultimate pack with black interior. Few subtle mods so far to keep me ticking until the running in service is done and I can send it. Coming from an ES Motor tuned 991.2 I’m very happy so far, drives as well as I expected, front end is magic + the tech and interior is stunning

Yes, I have, my first RS6 was a C7 DRC car, but I went to the M3T via a performance C7 without DRC and then a C8, so it's been a while since I was in the first C7 - my recollection is that the DRC C7 is a little softer than the M3, but not a huge amount, I think the M3T is daily-able certainly, go for a test drive to see for yourself, I think you'll learn what the ride is like within a few hundred metres.
On reflection, I wish I'd never sold my first C7, but I have to say that the M3T is the first car since that I've liked as much.

Thanks, in hindsight I wish I'd bought a non-DRC RS6 as I think its a better proposition for a daily driver (I had test drives in both, but the specs were generally better all round in all the DRC cars I viewed)

I had planned on swapping to a C8 Vorsprung, but over the last couple of weeks the RV's have tanked by almost 5k (with Lloyds at least) so all things considered the M3T is actually a much better buy now, and prices are looking more reasonable now than they were 6 months ago - there is a car local to me that was the DP's daily driver, I viewed it back in September when they wanted £85k for it, its now down to £73k, so I'm half tempted to wait until the last week of the quarter and see how keen they are to strike a deal.

I have an M5C (2019) with pretty much everything apart from ceramics and wondering what I will miss if I go to a M3T...

The C8 for me was rather a disappointment - looks great, but significantly heavier than the C7 and, in my case at least, the car was horribly unreliable and spent several months off the road during my 18 months of ownership, which might have been ok, but frankly neither Audi UK or the dealership seemed to care about or my custom, hence the change to BMW, which I'm currently really enjoying.
