It was a straight fit on the M Coupe, and it wasn't even designed especially for the Z4M. Your dealer (as usual) just doesn't know so are playing on the cautious side. Just from reading this thread you have two options (apart from just buying it anyway and telling them to fit it), go to either my dealer (Murketts of Huntingdon) or Edward's (i.e. Dick Lovett).

I had the brace fitted 2 weeks ago, it was a straight fit as you said, thanks for that. The car is transformed, it no longer twitches around on uneven roads and it has controlled the tramlining considerably. Next to do is get rid of the run flats.
I wrote to BMW UK about the issue but they are denying the problem saying they have received no other complaints. I have no doubts myself that it has made a huge improvement.
Thanks to both of you DoctorD and EL77.

Fitted my CSL wheels on Saturday when I decided that the winter Sottozros could come off - probably snow next week now !!. I had the strut brace fitted in December when I got the car.

A big thanks to Steved for his advice on BM3W.

I do love the look of Z4M Coupes with CSL wheels, I think it makes the car as they go so well with the overall look.
