If you have cash then you will get it at a good price but if you are trading in, be prepared to take your trousers down to ur ankles wink

Yep you're dead right on that one...if I was going to change the CSL would have to go private first...we shall see.

I'm waiting for the white one i saw at Dick Lovetts a year or so ago with the black AC wheels to come up for sale again...it was stunning.

This car belonged to Ed Lovett - yes, the dealership is his (kind of). Call him - he probably will be able to track it down for you...

I have dealt with Ed before. He gave me my first drive in a CSL.

I have a place spare due to one of our party not being able to make it at the last minute, if you are interested give me a call on; 07979264565. I have been punting it here and there so it will be first come, first served.

I'd buy one but it looks like these deals are only available to those with cash and no part exchange. I've been making offers on cars on the bmw website based on what has been said but not much luck. That Manchester car at Williams was offered to me at £24,995 with tax, it had a full specification and only 1700 miles.

I was just informed from the Tring Hertfordshire dealer that they want list price for an 08 car, how on earth they are going to get that I don't know because I think this car was seriously overpriced to begin with. I really think some of these cars are going to be sitting around dealers for months and then eventually sold for what the Manchester car went for. Anyway I like the cars and I'd have one but I'm not in any rush and the run up toward Christmas I think will see prices fall further.

I am in a similar position. I have been looking at loads of these cars and at the rate they are falling, I may just hold out another couple of months. God knows how the dealers will ever sell the 08 cars for much more than £30k. Any idea what they might let these cars go at? It almost seems worth while on insulting them with an offer at the moment! The private sales guys must be sick of the depreciation this year which is why they are so stubbon on their prices.

I can't wait to get the car though as I am absolutely stuck on it now and MUST have it!

I’d be up for that and I can move immediately on it as I have no part exchange. They would have to be separate deals so I’m not sure it would make any difference but there’s no harm in trying, and as far as I’m aware it’s the end of this month that is the best time to get a deal.

I searched the BMW site and these cars are located at Stratstone Derby and are listed under “coming soon” cars. Both have the full spec and I'd be happy with either colour.

I am kicking myself for not taking that Manchester car, I was trying to get a few hundred pounds off for a strut brace and some lucky person bought the car.

Did you see the car at Robert Stern in Worcester? That was by far the best value car I have seen in the last few months. It got sold last week after just a few days.

I have a car to sell before I can buy so end of sept may be a little early. Do you have a max budget or spec your trying to stick to?

That Robert Stern car was interlagos blue is well, a nice colour and only with 500 miles I think.

I just want nav in mine, anything else would be a bonus. After stupidly missing out on a barely used one for £24,995, I think that's my budget as I think that is where prices will eventually settle.

No luck with Stratstone Derby, they want the advertised price for their cars. Looks like the only way to get one now is to wait it out.

you would have been doing well to get those at our price! ha ha! i drove the silver one at high wycombe a while ago which is a nice car but no cruise control.
i have my eye on the nottingham car which seems perfect for me. they wont take my deposit until i have sold the 911 though. very frustrating.
