And and most importantly am I the only one who thinks its a bit sh1t trying to get you car to look like something its not i.e. fitting LEDs (to pre-facelifts) and mines not a face lift, CSL's to stnd M3's etc, H&K stereos, pipes, fluffy dice?
You are not the only one, but IMO there is nothing wrong with some modification if the items look good. The LEDs are not exactly lexarse lights, and bring the rear up to date, nice set of CSLs are much less chav than the silly chrome 19s, and much better looking than the 18s. And remember pushing an M3 towards the CSL is possible, not something that you can do with a 316...The only thing i would like is the oem m3 19's to have the split rim like the 18's, the 18's are a much nicer looking wheel just too small yeah???? no?????? well i think so!
what about the schnitzer wheel's?????????????????
Now IMHO these are a class wheel much nicer than the csl's or the 19's standard or the 18s made bigger if you get my meaning doh!

Get on with it ..! the 19" CSL rims look great, the CSL and CS rims are the same. I bought a set of CSL rims for mine and weighed them both back to back and there is nothing in it..
The difference is the fronts are 1/2 inch wider ie 8.5J, and the front offset is different, by 9mm on my ones, which really helps the turn in and steering feel.. the rears are identical..
The guy on e-bay (Chris Lawes) is very helpful if you need a source..!

Csl wheels aren't chav at all, If anything they are far less chav than slightly ostentatious standard wheels, but if you can afford it get bbs le mans wheels they are gorgeous
I agree another very nice wheel IMHOEdited by johnnyboy101 on Friday 30th May 22:10

There's also a school of thought that suggests fitting rears all round (typically these are the same people who advise against the OEM staggered setup on E36s) as a way of reducing understeer and increasing overall grip.
Also the 18's oem handle better than the 19's a mate of mine track's his m3 and has 19's on it for the road but puts 18's back on for the track and he says the 18's handle much better than the 19's so i suppose its down to looks and handling what do you want the most.jeff
I changed to csl wheels because of the problem with the 19s
diamond cut finish is the wheels which keep oxodising! And
you can only have them refurbished a few times then the original
pattern is lost!
I have had the csl wheels i a different colour which i am trying
to upload through photobucket and its my first time.
If this does not work hope someone on here can help
thanks kelly
