E36 M3 Evo vanos problems

i've got a problem with my vanos on my E36 M3 Evo. Its snaped the heads off of two bolts and therefore the oil gasket isn't sealing and the car is loosing oil.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? i seam to remember reading the bolts can snap with age. and if so can the bolts be easily replaced, again I seam to remember completely removing the vanos isn't a diy job but if i could get the old bolts out i could replace them one by one.

Thanks very much that was the exact article i was looking for, read it a year or so ago and should have added it to favorites

Looks like fingers crossed i might get away with a set of bolts and gaskets and at worsed new solenoids at £200ish.
