Well what a god dam roller coaster this has been!
The coupe mentioned previously i ended up loosing out on. The seller had someone come along and wave more cash under his nose and the greedy sod (even though we had agreed price, collection etc) took it. I didnt even know until i tried calling on the day of collection and he didnt return my calls for 4 hours and told me. I wasnt happy! To be fair i should have left a deposit even though the seller gave me his word and assured me the car was mine. So my own fault really.
Anyways all is well that ends well. I found another one 10 mile up the road.
71k, FBMWSH, New stainless exhaust, hood motor, suspension bushes, shocks and springs.
Collected it this morning and im over the moon. Just done 50 miles cruising about and i LOVE it! It also worked out cheaper to buy than the coupe and has lower miles etc. Been owned by a gentleman with a motorcycle shop who seemed a really nice bloke and has looked after the car, his excuse for sale was the e46 M3 parked next to this one
Im happy! At last!
