im in the south west so cant help there unless you like a drive.
As for the shocks there are loads on the market for instance Koni £127 rear
and £180 front....Just look at demon tweeks web to give you an idea-even they are expensive but you can see the kind of thing available.
I only use 3 types - original, eibach or nitrons....nitrons are awesmoe but expensive

Is £260 the fitted price per corner for shocks.Euro Car Parts list OE shocks for the E39 M5 at £128+VAT each for the fronts, and £120+VAT each for the rears.
