I don't think I've ever read such a load of self righteous arrogant and generally smug posts in one thread for a long time
It’s on the BMW board, what a surprise???

To the OP - if you're wondering why you've riled this lot up, you've asked them to give an estimate of how much money THE CARS THEY OWN are going to lose in the next few months. Not something they would really be happy about discussing in a positive tone I think!
The car market is in a terrible state at the moment, cars (especially big Mercs/BMWs with M badges on or not) are tumbling hard, and will continue to do so over the early part of next year. If I was you, I'd wait till Feb, then see what the market prices are, and make some silly offers. You never know, you could grab a bargain!
Everything above £20k is dropping hard, you can't escape it.

I am entirely resigned to the loss, but I can afford it. The positive side is that if I fancy a fun car, I will have to spend less to buy one now. You'll have to try something else to wind me up (sending angry PMs won't work because I won't respond, but will post them up here for general amusement). The car market is in a terrible state at the moment, cars (especially big Mercs/BMWs with M badges on or not) are tumbling hard, and will continue to do so over the early part of next year. I'm sending you a pm because I'd like to keep this off the main board (whoops!) and ask you while you feel the need to post a load of overly aggressive rubbish (presumably my correction of his/her/its attempt to put me right on the meaning of "insensible"). Your last post was the biggest load of guff I've had the displeasure of reading in a while. It doesn't make you seem clever or cool, it just makes you look juvenile. I can only assume that you're a very small man, who feels the need to undermine others to make himself feel better about you own low self-esteem.
Speaking to people on forum enables you to post things you wouldn't get away with in real life (somebody has led a sheltered life!), it's very easy to post without the fear of reprisal, you and many others do the same, it seems particularly prevalent the BMW forum and only goes to galvanise the image of a typical BMW owner.
Maybe you should post replies on the board that you'd actually say to a person in a one on one real life conversation, you might find it makes you seem a lot less angry and immature.
Regards
all sic, I'm afraid. The punctuation saddens me the most.Speaking to people on forum enables you to post things you wouldn't get away with in real life (somebody has led a sheltered life!), it's very easy to post without the fear of reprisal, you and many others do the same, it seems particularly prevalent the BMW forum and only goes to galvanise the image of a typical BMW owner.

I'd agree with PP, hasn't this all become somewhat juvenile? Does gammar and punctuation really upset you that much? Maybe you need to get out a bit more, are you a teacher?
If the average teacher in this country cared about instilling good spelling and grammar, we wouldn't have to deal with this rubbish.Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
