Not worried... just want to make sure the history tallies up perfectly and I know exactly what I'm buying
Trying hard to allow the head to rule the heart as I LOVED it.
My advice would be to read up on the car and know EVERYTHING about it. Make sure you know servicing schedules inside out, recall situations, invoices to show all work done etc.Trying hard to allow the head to rule the heart as I LOVED it.
Dubbs - as I understand it, it's a less than two year old car, going through a full BMW AUC check and coming with full BMW warranty. Having done the obvious checks I'd just buy and enjoy it if I was you rather than disappearing up your own bottom worrying about anything else. It's not a used TVR!

BUY IT!!!
The runing in service doesn't show on the system but a stamp in the book is better proof!
Pheonix is what the dealer is called now. The stamps in the book will carry the old name. the other visits could be for anything that it has gone in for ie a bulb etc....
EEEK - Stamp in the book is very easy to do - I would have seriously thought the system was better proof!!!The runing in service doesn't show on the system but a stamp in the book is better proof!

BMW should not be able to sell AUC cars that have not had the running in service - but don't make the assumption.
It's ok - I've checked. It was definitely done and the responsible dealer backs that up.
You can also tell by the stamp and writing that it was done a couple of years back when you view the book.
Let's face it... system or book could be falsified at the time... the only REAL way of knowing is to stand over the mech as he does it.
As long as they have confirmed, the dealership I am buying from have confirmed, and the AUC warranty is intact as a result then I'm fine :-)

Will let you know... pick up will be on Saturday :-D
Loved it... more than the 996 turbo and it's far more practical too.
Only problem with it will be the deceptively fast rate speeds come up I'd say...
I'll need to find a decent exhaust to ensure I hear the engine to my satisfaction at lower speed :-)
