where did you find the genuine M3 Mirrors for the E46 Touring? I thought they only made coupes and convertibles?
Are they different then?

It is for sale mate, I was very interested in it but my wife wouldnt allow me to get it. Its a great car to drive, great sleeper and a great conversion!! Wayne definately knows his stuff and has gone to great levels to do it correctly.

My mate Jeff bought this car a couple of years ago or so. Bought it in Brum & brought it down to West Surrey

He stripped out the sport interior (which he has kept) and fitted bucket seats. He also fitted race brake pads and some track day super sticky tyres.

He track day'd the car with great success - there was not a lot that got past it.

It's now for sale 8-)

No links yet - he is planning to put it on ebay, etc at the weekend. Although, I am sure he would be happy for viewings before he lists it...

I don't really understand the logic in making that a track car. There are plenty of regular M3's, why strip out a pretty unique car?

Yeah I'd have loved this with full M3 leather etc.
Up to the guy but not for me anymore. Would pay 5k for it and then stick my bonnet/wings etc on and repaint and replace interior.

Obviously each to their own but for me the sweet spot for the car was when it was built with the M3 bits. To have a sleepy looking touring with that running gear ticks all the boxes for me.

Shame.

Why would you buy a custom built m3 touring and turn it into a trackday car. redcard

Plenty of coupes, this just wrecks someone's hard work. It looks like a dogs dinner and is probably worth half the price paid for it.

Some people shouldn’t be allowed to buy interesting cars.
