Noticed this when looking round this car last week. For some reason it totally put me off.

Oh and the price. It was recently up at £11k! Very expensive for a 80k boggo spec 320d. Given a decent spec m-sport wink 5 series touring can be had for similar money.

Sorry for the phone screenshot.

Sorry for the terrible picture but this really made me chuckle...
Someone clearly removed the 18d or 20d and stuck an ///M badge in front of the 3...

I keep my E12 in a shared underground garage with some other nice kit in there, new M6, a few C63 AMGs etc.

There is also a super-chavved E46 M3 in there (a real one) with some nasty after market tat on it (wheels, splitters etc.)

Last week the owner and his fuzzy lipped mate were standing looking up at my car (the E12, not the E39) and laughing as I parked my daily snotter a few bays down and was walking by them to get out.

"Look at diss fukkin pretender, what a " etc etc etc.

I didn't bother giving them a history lesson, didn't seem like it would be a worthwhile investment of time or effort.

^^^^ His car should be confiscated with immediate effect for saying that. And for the nasty aftermarket tat too!

That E12 is beautiful! Hmm - how to persuade my wife we need a classic to go with the E61 M5...

I can't reccomend these early BMWs enough, such a special and fun car to drive once you can get past the fact its sole aim seems to be driver murder smile

Ditto!

Mine's coming in Mineral Grey so hoping for the sleeper look without badges (until I open the door to all manner of M's on door plate, steering wheel, gear knob etc etc etc etc!)

I drive past it most weekends as it's about a 100 yards from the mother in law's house but never bother to take a photo. It was making a racket outside of my house a few weeks ago, huge exhaust and creaky suspension

They live where the road narrows to one cars width. You'll spot either my white non "M" badged 3 series outside or our silver C63 estate once a week when we visit. We only live in the next village so look out as both cars have PH stickers on the back
