No M badge but think V10 plate and body kit qualifies. Interesting to see that a torque converter automatic box had been added to this otherwise entirely genuine and OEM E60 M5... :-)
I noticed one of the guys in a firm we employ has a debadged 520 with an M badge on the back. When he noticed I had an M5 recently he said that he also had an M sport. I didnt correct him as that would be childish but ...
Since seeing this post I have seen loads on the road, is this a recent thing or am I just noticing them now?!

Well technically he was correct, as I suspect he does have an "M-Sport". It's the ones who like to proclaim they have an "M5 Sport" that I don't understand, as I'm pretty sure they're deliberately phrasing it that way to make the car sound more impressive. Or even more commonly referring to it as an "M5 Sports" for added emphasisRossP said:
Even worse. A blacked out M badge. I have never understood why people black out their badges. I always assumed it was to understate the car in someway (assuming the car is a dark colour) but in the case of adding an erroneous badge and then blacking it out would it not be more stealthy to have left it off..?
