I just bought this....

Oh no!

Sadly forgot the spanner when I picked it up, but don't worry within an hour of being home...

Still got the fix the "st grill syndrome" but 100 times better without the badge (eagle eyes might notice the equally st nose badge and centre caps in the first picture... Center caps fixed in second picture still waiting on new bonnet and tailgate badge!

I think some people think that their car is actually an M car when its an M sport which is why they put the stickers on. I've met at least one plonker who thinks this, upon seeing my M5 he said I have an M5 as well .. it was an M sport 525d with an M badge on.

I was talking to one of our suppliers and he was telling me about his new M5. I got excited until I delved further and it was 520D M5...

Enjoyed this thread tremendously, particularly after I spotted a rare A170 M. Didn't see the owner and was getting looks and eye rolls from the missus, so apologies for quality....

Also saw this coming home from the physio. Not incorrectly badged per se, but...

Why would someone do that...just why? Why not an "X" or "S" something equally irrelevant to this car.

It crossed my mind that an AMG badge might've been more appropriate, if one was going to mis-badge a car, but maybe it's a dig at ///M owners. I've found owning an M3 can bring out the best, although more often the worst, in other drivers. If only I had a penny for every workman's van that breaks the speed limit to overtake me only to pull in front of me and slow down. One day I swear a ladder's going to go flying through my windscreen.

So you guys know those stick on wing vents posted earlier? Today I spotted the evolution of them, actual vents inserted into a cut non E46 M3 wing:

You can't win on this thread, you lose either way, if you stick a crap M badge on or if you moan about people sticking a crap M badge on...

To be clear, non-M driving cretin has actually cut holes in the wings of his car?
