If you are that heavy in the brakes at The Ring, you'd better do something!! Lol.

I assume those calipers are from another model with a few custom made pieces to fit.

The genuine 380mm Brembo Gran Turismo brakes are £6.7k and only available in 6 pot Fronts and 4 Pot rears.
yes you are correct, the white M3 uses R8/RS6/RS4 8 pot fronts and Porsche 997 turbo rears, both made by Brembo

Interesting. I managed a day at Cadwell on the OEM pads without problems and that is far heavier on brakes. Never had a problem at Snetterton either.

Anyway, I have the BMW Perfomance pads now which allowed 4 full laps of the ring without any fade but I am still going the AP route in due course.

I have a full set of US made Rotora brakes for an E92. They are lightweight alloy calliper with titanium pistons, fully floating discs, 6 pot on the front and 4 pot on the rear. I had them briefly on a race car and they were awesome, but as that car has now gone they are going spare if anyone is interested. They look the dogs wotsits too....smile

I might put some SICOM carbon ceramics on my M6 if I keep it long term. They are second hand and have come off an M3 E92 but still have amazing bite and feel.
