Just to add a bit of balance I bought a 55k CSL off this dealer a couple of years ago and it was perfect, sold it on 9 months later after 9k miles and it flew through MOT + service with no trouble.

If you're unsure about a perticular car you could also pay for a professional inspection which I'm sure he would welcome.
