Rather silly thing to do, then again if some one calls their car She when its an inanimate object is probably silly enough to do such a thing - (Dons helmet to prepare for incoming). Having said that once lost a car in a Multi story at Manchester airport, parked on a different level, and i would never dream of being so annoying as to call a car a she! How could something as aggressive as a csl be female anyhow?

That's priceless.

Is there an award that could be created on PH for this? Village of the year?

Good friend of mine had the reverse happen: night out, car left in multi-story (company Astra). End of evening, him sober, me + wife, + his wife slightly tired & emotional, back to where he said he'd left it - no car! "Muppet", says us", "you're on a different floor!". He's adamant it should be there, so yours truly decides to climb the ramps in search of it. Sure enough, two floors up, there it is, nose in 10 spaces along, just as he said he'd left it. Once the rest caught me up, in the spirit of friendship & comedic opportunity, we give him a right old heckling....until he points out the busted door lock, smashed steering lock & missing radio. Maybe just broken into on site? Nope, an additional 30 miles on the clock (he'd just filled up & zeroed the trip). Unbl**dy believeable - but I assure you, absolutley true!

As per, no chance the poliss caught the scrotes that pinched it, seeing as how they weren't interested enough to even issue a crime number (this was a while back, to be fair).

Thread resurrection alert.

I enquired about this car this morning and in my search for history on the internet was mortified to find to think for a moment that it was stolen. LOL. Pleased that wasn't the case and still interested.

This car has had 8 owners now which even for a CSL is high. 2/8 owners are in this thread, just wondering if there were many others lurking out there on the PH boards.

Bit late to the party on this one... but thats brilliant. I've almost done the same thing but didnt go to the extent of phoning the police/tracker.
