How's it a 1992 if H Plate was used from August 90-July 91?

laugh " wheels worth £10,000 when refurbished" laugh in your dreams pal, in your dreams!!

"any enthusiast will know that the Original factory fitted BBR's are as rare as hens teeth and once fully restored can fetch anything up to £10k"

they are OZ alloys manufactured in Italy apparently!!
He was talking about BBR turbo modification Mattlan - not BBS wheels !!!

The whole advert is a bit wooly with the 'FWD' etc etc - possibly a seller who has virtually no previous experience of posting an ad ? Also only 3 pics. with no evidence of original wheels / no interior or under bonnet shots ...........

Big change of plans = Number 131 may be upfor sale later in month ... full history / 62000 miles / all the original bits etc etc and needs a full discussion to confirm just how good it really is ...........

Bad news for mine today. Mot is due a week Friday, took it to Mark In mx5 and delsol for what I hoped was a fairly easily repair to some rust and she's unfortunately at the end of her journey. Sad day frown(

Not worth the cost of getting it put right. Can't afford or justify spending what she needs and don't have the skills, tools, time to do it myself.

Ouch, that does look bad. Are you going to break her for parts, scrap her or sell her on as a project?

Yep that's the worst found after I started picking at it but there is more. Undecided as yet.

Very sad. Are you going to get another or is it time for a change?

mx5restorer if you're down south.

or deepcar(?) autobodies if you're up north.

both have excellent reputations for fixing rust in the mx5 world. i know where mine will be going when the day comes (and the day will come).

At least give one of those the chance to quote for the work. it looks bad, but localised to me.

Took it to a recommended guy in Barry, economically it's not viable.
