Hi Folks,

I have a question about MP3,s of which I know nothing about being and old boy born pre MP3,s. My problem is that next week I will collect my 2006 MX5 that has a CD/MP3 player and I believe that it is possible to Burn your own music onto a CD from a Laptop, but I have NO idea on what "type of CD" that I need to buy to Burn this music.

Can anyone shed the light on the subject please.

CD-R you can write music to them but only once
CD-RW you can re write the cd if you want to upgrade your bangin choons.

No problem smile

Some CD players have problems with CD-RW disks and don't play them so it might be safest to use the single use CD-R. They're well cheap.
I forgot to put this bit in my other post. My golf wouldn't play CD-RW.

Also, bear in mind that writeable CDs (and rewritable) are susceptible to UV light degradation, so put them in the case, in a dark spot like the glove box or something when you're not playing them.
