Just an update, picked up my car today, very happy with it. The colour combo is lovely and it just feels really nice to drive.

Was sad to say goodbye to my Clio, had it for 5 years, plus I'll need a new PH smiley!

The interior is really well done, especially the painted dash panel in dark red.

Went into the showroom just for a look about with a vague view to buying a new car. Ended up putting a deposit down. Never had a new car before so I'm pretty excited!
Hmm, that sounds familiar.

I went to the dealers to tire kick and test drive before buying private, that was my plan.
Damn Soul Red Metallic and 0% finance........ Happy as Larry now though..... Mine will be at the BBR stand @ Gaydon tomorrow for the OC and MX-5 Anniversary.
Nice one, what number is yours? Wish I could make that but I'm working unfortunately.

That black roof, red paint on body and darker wheels really does work well. Will be interesting to hear how you compare your Clio to the MX5 as it is a bit of a sea change. Pros and cons?

Nice buy.

I'm looking forward to seeing the comparisons between them too, bit too early yet for any serious comparisons however initial impressions are build quality (could be a used car vs new car thing though), the ride feels much more composed over rough road with the Mazda, and the steering definitely feels more direct, like it's very keen to turn in. I'm still trying to get used to this as I find myself on roundabouts turning in too much and running very close to the inside kerb wobble

Not a huge fan of the nc but that's looks nice. But with the nd coming out next year wouldn't spend my money on one plus the fact I can fit in them unlike my na.
Cant wait for the nd to hit the showroom and take a test drive looks a lot nicer than the nc imo.
