My daughter has recently bought her 4th MX5, a superb Sport.
Trouble is previous owner has fitted lower springs, looks great drives great but will not clear the sleeping policemen where she works....

Question is what costs are involved in swapping the lower springs for standard sport springs?
I think I will be 'sponsoring' this change....

Thanks, and how much these days are a set of stock Mazda Sport springs?

I have the original suspension from my 2012 2.2 Sport Tech sat in my garage if you are interested.
(Bilstein with 6000 miles) I have moved to Coilovers for Track use.

Would approaching speed humps at an angle help?
I only had issues a couple of times when I had my MK3 on Eibachs.

Thank you both.
She crawlers to the speed bumps and the underside tray or front spoiler drags on the ground.
It is an office entrance so can only be approached straight on.
Will be back about those springs once I have a labour quote and realignment from a local specialist here in the Midlands.

Whatever the price is, remember to budget £100 to get the alignment reset afterwards.

Depends where you go to. There are a couple of good local alignment places and the prices vary considerably.
