At the moment, I am looking to find my "perfect" NC to buy as my first car. So, it won't influence my choice, but I am just curious what people think about the NC. wink

I hope this is the right place to ask this, sorry if it's not...

The ones without Bilstein shocks sit a bit high, but no I don't think so. They're not aggressive, that's for sure. They are just a nice & honest looking car - Classless is a good word.

They're quite colour dependent. I love this combo:

A bit of lowering and some aftermrket wheels work wonders as well.

Thanks for all the reactions!

I am going to buy a black, dark blue or gray one and lower it just a bit (a few cm) to make it look "right". wink

Of course they are not girly. The car is basically Mazda's attempt to capture the hairdresser market. Gender shouldn't come into it.

Have a look at the evo trackday of the year 2014 video, mx5 is one of the contenders and nobody even considered is it girly.

I'd say it's 'happy'. But not girly. With a few mods they can look fairly aggressive imo.

In PistonHeads land? No, they're at the pinnacle of the driving experience; a no compromise drivers car. hehe

In the real world? Yes of course they are, the average man on the street sees a small slow convertible. But really who cares what people think? Drive what you want!
