Gents, I've noticed a clicky-metallic noise on the car when changing direction between going forwards and backwards. Only does it once and then does it when I go forwards again.
I've just been going back and forth on my driveway and I think it's coming from one of the nearside brakes. A quick google suggests the brakepads 'realigning'!?
Could it be something as trivial as a chipping or stone lodged somewhere?

FIL has had a stone trapped in his breaks before. That made more of a screeching / grinding noise, though that's not to say this couldn't be it too.
Honestly from your description I'm struggling to follow, but there were some comments (I think further back in this thread) about some feedback when changing gear?

Are you sure it's not from the rear axle - there is a revised torque setting for the PPF to diff bolts for a cracking noiseI've just been going back and forth on my driveway and I think it's coming from one of the nearside brakes. A quick google suggests the brakepads 'realigning'!?
