I think you'll want both the roadster and the targa
they'll be different enough

Gents, I've noticed a clicky-metallic noise on the car when changing direction between going forwards and backwards. Only does it once and then does it when I go forwards again.

I've just been going back and forth on my driveway and I think it's coming from one of the nearside brakes. A quick google suggests the brakepads 'realigning'!?

Could it be something as trivial as a chipping or stone lodged somewhere?

FIL has had a stone trapped in his breaks before. That made more of a screeching / grinding noise, though that's not to say this couldn't be it too.

Honestly from your description I'm struggling to follow, but there were some comments (I think further back in this thread) about some feedback when changing gear?

Are you sure it's not from the rear axle - there is a revised torque setting for the PPF to diff bolts for a cracking noise

Has anybody moved from a 2.0 litre Mk 3 Sport to a 1.5 litre Mk 4? I'd like to know if you miss the extra bhp?

I've driven both, but only briefly. Didn't notice much of a difference - the 1.5 is very "chuckable" by comparison.

That said, I LOVE the ooomph my 2.0 ND has for motorway driving - made a round trip to Wales last weekend very easy.

I've finally seen a few around now. I even got a good close look round at one at a local car show with some Mk1s along side to compare. It looked lovely and that Soul Red paint really suits it.

I can definitely see one in my future at some point.

I've seen a few on the roads and had a poke around one at a dealer, great looking very well proportioned cars.
Do we know how well they are selling? Flying off the shelves I hope, so there are plenty on the market to choose from in a couple of years!

How Many Left shows 1.2k Sport Navs sold in 2015. If you look around a bit I'm sure you can get numbers for the other models too.

Well it seems one of my neighbours has just got a red Mk4 to replace their Mk 3.0. It looks very nice.

I'll try and think up an excuse to speak to them about it. tongue out

There's plenty more on the road now that there's been a handful of sunny days. I definitely fancy one when they go sub-7k......

I've seen one in white out and about and it definitely suits it. The black windscreen surround etc really contrasts well.

That said, I really don't think they need two choices of white paint when they don't offer British Racing Green.

I find it odd they no longer offer that green. I'd love to respray my Mk 3 in BRG sometime.

I was going to chose blue too but the choice of blues wasn't what I wanted, I wanted (winning?) blue, the very vivid metallic blue but it was not available as a choice unfortunately. frown
