"Finally drove a nd today initial impressions are good, interior build is greatly superior although the 2.0 is far from rewarding to rev unlike the mk3.75"
Hmmm, and the electric steering is supposed not to be as feelsome as the NC's either.

That pic (and the brief review of the drive I assume) is from the Goodwood event. I only got to drive the 1.5 but found it willing to rev out to it's 7000-ish redline. Found the steering to be very, very light around the "straight ahead" at low speeds but felt better when travelling at decent speeds. https://www.facebook.com/bbrgti/photos/a.166466744...

"Lightness, agility and simplicity have always been part of the MX-5’s DNA. So, for the fourth generation, the engineers have maintained their “gram strategy,” which means constantly assessing the weight of each and every component. For example, they used aluminum for the hood, trunk lid, front fenders, roof parts and all of the bumper and hub carrier reinforcements"
Then fitted a twin-exit exhaust instead of a single pipe.

The Mk4 back box is huge. It's ugly too. Then fitted a twin-exit exhaust instead of a single pipe.
It looks pretty much the same as the Mk3 one, which weighs about as much as a medium-sized dog. The aftermarket exhausts weight as much as a fat cat in comparison.

So i you fit both an aftermarket exhaust, then decat it does that mean it weighs nothing? It looks pretty much the same as the Mk3 one, which weighs about as much as a medium-sized dog. The aftermarket exhausts weight as much as a fat cat in comparison.
