Mine is going in this week for the roof lining thing - first time so will see how it goes. They are supposed to be putting some extra clips on it to hold it in properly so make sure your dealer is doing this (there is a Mazda service bulletin about it).
Unfortunately they ordered these 'clips' in for me before... Are you having a courtesy car with yours?

Anyway, my car is booked into the local dealer for a third time due to the dropping of the interior roof lining. Starting to get really annoyed with it now. Has anyone else suffered this? Also to have a courtesy car the dealer want to charge me - is it worth me contesting this?
God yes, mine's about to go back for the third time.

I have no faith in my local dealer to follow the instructions of the TSB to fix this.

Do you know if yours has fitted the clips and it's still failing?

Well I had to wait for the clips to be ordered in the last time. We shall see on Wednesday I suppose...

Anyone had any issues with the tyre pressure warning system? Mine went off yesterday coming back up the M5 (I noticed on the way down earlier there must have been half a dozen cars changing their tyres!!) Stopped at the next services all looked fine. Checked the pressures today and all spot on. Re-set the system and so far OK. Seemed a bit odd. Anyone else had this?

Yes when I was driving to the aiport in June. Went through a torrential rainstorm for about 10 mins (down to about 40mph on motorway), came out the other side in lovely sunshine and the warning light came on. Pulled over and everything was ok. Stopped at a services and reset the system and it never came back on. I wondered if some water had got in somewhere?

(By the way, my roof is fixed now. Dealer said they couldn't find the clips that should have been put in the first time... All seems good so far.)

My tyre pressure warning thing also came on yesterday, all pressures OK. Will reset with cold tyres as I don't know if that was done previously.

I took my car into the dealer last week for the roof lining issue only for them to have no record of me booking it in so it will be in this week to do it hopefully, will then try to find a different dealer group to look after it in future.

Do the dealers now stick the rubber bungs in the access holes? Have recalls sorted out any major issues?

Luckily I was pissed about with a test drive so decided to wait until the issues have been ironed out.

My bungs were in place. Recalls? Not aware of any.

Yes, had it a couple of weeks ago. Tyres were fine, just reset the system again.

I understand that as it's an ABS based it system it can sometimes be triggered if you have wheel spin / slippage, mine triggered after exiting a roundabout and getting an (intended smile) slide on for example.

My lining dropped yesterday. Ordered the clips from my local dealer, hopefully this will be sorted when fitted. Anyone still having problems after the clips were fitted?

I ended up with a replacement roof, which I'm still not convinced is right, but I've had no more dropped liner or rubbing since. Hoping for the best!
