So what have you treated your MX5/Eunos to recently?

Probably tripled it! But as an Ohlins agent I thought that after 21 years I should have a set on a car I owned.

Go on then - seeing as I'm looking at better dampers to replace my Gaz gold pro's - what sort of ballpark price are these?

I've so far been looking at Quantum/Meister R GT1/equivalent...

Annoyingly he's only 10 miles from where I live and just round the corner from some friends. Must......resist......spending.....money..........

Sway, I am embarrassed to say, but you could probably buy a set of Meisters for one damper!

Don't be - quality costs!

Bear in mind the gt1 Meisters are more than double the price of the 'regular' ones... Quantum aren't cheap either!

Feel free to PM me, it is of genuine interest. One thing I'm particularly keen on being able to do is work with those who know suspension far better than I to ensure the very best setup for the actual driving I do - a daily 100 mile commute over the South Downs. Stuff designed to set lap times aren't going to cut it, neither are '48 click adjustable' crap with no linearity to the adjustment or repeatability between dampers.

Fresh oil, added lightness and bought some Kumho HS51 after seeing them recommended by Mazda On Track. Off to Croft on Friday to give it a proper run :-).

OK, I'll work out some costs. Mine are still in development at the moment. I haven't really tested them yet properly, but finding some place to try is difficult. The first real test will be next month on an autosolo event.
What I have at my disposal is the use of a dyno and a good spreadsheet to give me theoretical damper/spring data. No doubt I will be making a few changes in the coming months.

Just received an alloy rad, silicon hoses (with free clips) from Fast5. Looks very well made & much greater capacity than the std one.

NA or Nb? Annoyingly, one of the hoses that are common between the two doesn't fit on my nb - so u have lovely red silicone on all but one in my engine bay...

Everything else fits and seems to work very well though.

Hmmm, that's interesting, which hose? Mine's a SC'd 2.5 & the std radiator was ok but the alloy one was too cheap to resist.

Fitted a set of revlimiter gauges over the weekend... A bit fiddly but well worth it!
