So what have you treated your MX5/Eunos to recently?

Did the front drop-links. Makes such a difference having the right tools. Did both sides in under 90 minutes. There's not much a compressor-powered rattle-gun, a dremel, mole-grips and a blow-torch can't shift.

I'm going for the BBR 200 kit soon. How do you find it?
Not bad at all, power kicks in quite a bit earlier. I feel like I'm a kit more in control of the throttle at low rpms in 1st and 2nd as well. It's damaged my mpg but its not that much different, down by about 2/3mpg but if I was bothered I wouldn't drive as I do anyway.
I'm happy with the effect it's had on the car.
Getting my alloys refurbed and the calipers painted next week, can't wait for it to be all done

Thanks. I'm not overly bothered by mpg either.
Oddly enough I got my WRX remapped and the fuel consumption actually improved. Funny old world. smile

Nothing really for ours until the winter, but ours passed its mot the other day with a single, minor advisory smile

Replaced heater hose 1 & 2 and fitted a new CAS today and it's booked in at Rodders for an alignment check next week.

Out fleets are very similar. I have a MX5 and a Boxster S and my wife has a Freelander.

You've obviously got good taste too. The Boxster is the misses'. Other 2 are mine, although she seems to use the Evoque much more than me.

Car SOLD this morning, add up for less than 12hrs!! She will be greatly missed.

Just gave it a thorough clean and wax. Sparkling it is and the Fabsil I put on last week works brilliantly, better than the Autoglym hood protector I've used in the past

Got my alloys refurbish and put back on, I'm over the moon with the results. The previous owners scuffs have all gone and they look better than new.
Also had the hubs and calipers painted while they were out the way.

I've got the same on mine, they are brilliant. Got mine fitted and aligned at AK Automotive and although a little bit too low at first (sleeping policemen proved too high for them) I've adjusted the height and they are superb

What did the whole set up cost you if I may be so rude?

I honestly can't remember, it was under 1k which included a 10% discount off the cost of the coilovers as I'm a member on a specialist MX-5 forum. I think they normally sell for about £750 I then got the 10% discount off that. Took them to AK and they charged 200 and something but can't remember what exactly.

I spent half an hour with a pair of pliers tucking the annoying inner layer of the mohair hood on mine back in place. so I should no longer get the top of my head tickled if I drive with the top up! Not that I want to do that. biggrin

After sills and arches last month and then some bottom ball joints, this month it's getting a new set of seals for the rear caliper as it's seized and a Cobalt exhaust from Moss as the old one has a big hole in it. Then because I was caught up in a whimsical frenzy of spending a new front lip spoiler and some new badges as the old ones were all cracked and peeling.
Pics to follow. And lots more overtime at work because it's Meister time soon.

Needs new locking wheel nuts as those look rancid now and stand out like sore thumbs
