MX5 Immobiliser

Hi to all, I know this is a long shot, I have an 03 1.8 that wont start it just stopped starting, I have got no power to the fuel pump from the relay but the relay is not pulling in.I have manually operated the relay and turned over the engine but it still wont start, I could do with knowing how to buypass the immobiliser to rule it out, and if anyone has anymore help please feel free to add to, I know no one will post this info on here so check out my profile and pm me or ask for my details, cheers Steve

That year/model MX5, the immobilizer is integrated into the ECU.

you can bypass it by fitting an aftermarket ECU, but I doubt you'll want to go there! If the ECU has died, you could replace it, but the keys will need re-programming to suit.

Thanks for that I thought as it has a separate alarm module it could be bypased , Next step is to try and make sure everything else is ok , cheers
