It's easy really, just do what you do now (within reason), it just requires a bit more planning

I'm still going skiing, road-trips, camping and whatnot, and I take me almost-6-yr-old along with me and have done from day 1

When the health visitor came round for the first visit a few weeks after getting home she asked, sensitively, if we'd managed to get out much
She was somewhat taken aback when we mentioned that we'd been to a 2-day trackday even where I was riding
The wee man was quite happy with his baby ear defenders on, and loved the noise

Apparently most parents have managed a trip to Tesco by then :/
