Juke Nismo RS - tyre wear
Discussion
Hi all,
Does anyone here have any experience of excessive tyre wear on their Nissan Juke Nismo RS??
We gone through the OEM Conti's with 9000miles (and that's not driven hard by any means, (town and motorway).
Nissan have said there is an issue with the OEM Continental ContiSports excessively wearing on the fronts.
What does everyone recommend tyre wise?
We are looking at Pirelli P Zeros, Dunlop Sport Maxx RT or Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 3 in 225/45/18s to replace the Conti's. Just abit concerned on spending a fortune on tyres again for them to wear so easily.

Yes, I needed new fronts after approx 9000 miles too.
I went for some Uniroyal Rainsports as they were the cheapest 'recognisable brand' I could get at £102 each fitted.
The Juke takes a 225/45R18 tyre which is fairly rare (225/40R18 are 10-a-Penny) (Costco couldn't source any Michelin or BFG tyres in that size from either stock or ordering in).

Just ordered Michelin PS3s for it today after Nissan UK have admitted fault and we've a case manager now from them looking into it. £149 a corner fitted. Need all four though!
I have exactly the same issue with my fronts on the Nismo RS (mine is the Xtronic 4WD). So I guess it's worth calling Nissan UK, or did you contact your dealer with the tyre wear issue?Gassing Station | Japanese Chat | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
