Ive got a spaceframed track car using mx5 suspension and hun assemblies. Its going to be running a rx8 engine and box. I need to use 13" rims. What brake upgrade can i do for it to still clear 13" rims?

Good pads, good discs and cooling vents. Don't think much else will go in 13"

If you're talking Mk1 1.6 running gear and because they use the same mounting holes the later, larger Mk1 1.8 caliper brackets fit onto the standard hubs.
That allows the bigger 1.8 discs and pads to be used.
Try AK Automotive up in the North East for s/hand brackets but just ask them if they foresee any probs fitting into 13" rims.
On my fast road Mk1 I use Yellowstuff pads as well as braided lines and Castrol React Performance fluid to good effect.
Later Mk's and you'll have to ask someone-else
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe.

I think you need 15" wheels with 1.8 brake upgrade.

I'm running 1.8 brakes on my 1.6 with 14" wheels - when I put my new Enkei RPF1s on I did have to file down the brake callipers a bit as the balancing weights were just catching.
