So a new job means I need a car younger than 8 years to retain the car allowance. Therefore I need to sell my 2006 EP3 CTR after only a few months of owning it.

Looking on Autotrader the seats on other Premium editions are different, they are all the mainly red high wing back Recaros. Mine are Recaro but all black, even the seat cusion. Is it likely mine have been swapped put at some point or was there an option to change the seats when new?

I have the red carpet and logo'd calipers.

I think I've just id them as preface lift seats. For me preferable to the proper seats but will make it less desirable to sell on.

Wait, are your seats *actual* Recaros? or are you just using the term "Recaro" to describe sports seats?

Not being facetious, btw - plenty folk use the word Recaro to describe non-Recaro seats!

Probably the latter.

They are same as these, so preface lift normal seats.

Still trying to decide if I should keep the car as a second car but an expensive house extension may be the decider. Will put it up for £4k.

Yup those are pre facelift seats. They are not Recaro's. Expect a lot of people to be put off by the fact your premier doesnt have the proper seats unless the price makes it worthwhile.

I'm after a pair for my pre facelift, you're talking about £600 for a good set.

Thanks,

I'm guessing £4k compares well with the competition.

102k miles.

They look quite good regardless.

Am I the only person who isn't very impressed with the Premier Recaros?

They look good, but I don't think they are THAT much more supportive than the standard seat.

I love Recaro seats but those are a bit 'meh' imo.
