My NC has the Bose 6 disc system and it's just developed an odd fault.

Was happily driving along, listening to the radio when it all went quiet..

The Bose display still works, let's me change inputs, etc but there's simply no sound.

Tried switching off & on again but nothing..

And now it started working again...

Weird.

Did you have the volume very loud? Might have been a thermal cutout.

Sorry - just realised I didn't update this.

Happened a couple more times, so I took the access panel off behind the driver's seat and wiggled the connectors into the amp.. That seems to have fixed it smile

And it failed again today..

Quick wiggle of the connector didn't fix it, so I'll try pulling the amp out completely later.

Amp completely died last week, so sent it to a specialist in Scotland for repair. £160 later, it's working properly again.
