Was at Le Mans 2012 a month ago in mine.

Pretty much standard 1992 1.6 MX5, 60k on the clock and a real hoot anytime a corner shows up. Managed 32mpg over the 830 mile trip (urban/85mph cruising):

Sorry I didn't get to the PH meet - it was after 4 when we got back from San Saturnin.

Well we bought the Gold MX new in 1998 and liked it so much after 107K miles that I bought an 04 plate with 30K miles!

Shortly before signing over the paperwork and leaving my hands.

4 and a half years of MX-5's, this one and the Mk1. Without a shadow of doubt, the most perfect all-round cars I could have had, given the time, the budget, my needs. So much fun drivingfrown

God, I just love NA/NB MX-5s with roll bars and some proper wheels... Blows away the girlie look of the stock cars (relax, ex-NA owner here, getting NB next season).

Hi,

My lurking days are over. All the info on here really helped with finding my car so I never needed to ask any questions. It seems they've all been asked (and answered) already.

Here's my car a 93 Mk1 S-Special.

Am absolutely loving it.

Oh, it is now. The softop has barely been up in fact.
The pic was taken the morning after i collected it and i had no one to help and nowhere to put the thing. All sorted now though.

Is removing the hardtop a two man job? I always imagined you could do it on your own.

It can be done by yourself, but I was a MX5 hardtop removal virgin and didn't want anything untoward to happen to my new car!

Some lovely looking cars in this thread!

Since I'm back in the fold - here is my 2006 Mk3 2.0 Option Pack - quite boringly standard so far, but then I've only had it a few days!
