Thanks Pat, I'm very happy with it. The paint isn't perfect but then it's 23 years old. It's too good to do a full re-spray at this point and given how much its worth not financially worth it, but in the future maybe I'll consider it. Lucky enough to have a massive workshop here so I can do all the jobs in the dry and relatively warm.

Hunted around for over a year to find the right car at the right price, and worth the wait because this one turned up on my doorstep, not something I expected as I live right at the bottom of Cornwall. You cant see in the pics, but the interior is incredible, almost as good as new and it came with every single bill from new being a UK car. Its done over 100,000 miles but the engine is as tight as new.

One thing I'm undecided about is the wheels. I'm a stickler for orginality so I'm tempted to go for a full refurb on the original daisy alloys although I've seen some BBS style ones that look good....decisions decisions!!

It looks perfect, specially with the original wheels! 1.6 or 1.8?

Just popping in to say Hi!

First foray into MX-5 ownership and am loving it, Had its first trip to the coast this weekend.

I think these pics are the only time its had the roof up since I've had it smile
I never like the NC design very much, but I have to say it looks brilliant in white. I think I've never seen one in that colour though. Glad your enjoying yours.

I vote daisy wheels, I'm a stickler for originality too.

Always wondered what 1.2's would look like on a 5.

Awesome!

Possibly a tiny bit too much, but certainly makes it aggressive and, more importantly, distinctive. Absolutely love the colour though!

No, I'd go for BBSs if I were you. They don't look good on every car, but the 5 is one of the ones on which they do.

Mine is nearly finished after new rear arches and a full respray! MOT next, new roof next month, then fancy some BBS or Watanabes, finished off with a small drop.

I'll be very happy with the car then.
