Hi, just thought I would introduce my new purchase. It fulfills one of my (granted less ambitious) dreams. It's an 08 model with 29,000 miles and full history. One lady owner, naturally (but this time it actually is...). It took a bit of persuading of my partner to let me have one, but we had two family cars and have no children, or plans for such any time soon. Once I told her we could use it as our wedding car, and once she saw one, she was sold. I was pleased with that effort!

It's only done 40 miles in my hands, but what a car--I am used to superminis and family cars, so a RWD 'sports' car with no roof is very different. And I have a feeling it is going to reignite my love for driving.

Sorry for poor number plate editing. I have zero skills.

So I haven't been here much before, but I picked up my first mx5 about a month ago. Thought I'd join the fun. I've been posting a bit on the MX5OC forum.
So it's a 94 Eunos 1.8 S Special.
Really enjoying it.
Loving this thread by the way some lovely cars.
Just a few snaps for new, so excuse the lack of artistic photos at the moment, they will come.

Just like my old one! Very early 1.8, the pinnacle of MX5! Suspect and it's variants (RS, S Ltd) were the best Mk1s made. Lovely that. Should have kept mine!

MX hasn't got many power mods - she's only a daily so I want to try and keep some MPG as I have an hour commute each way (so just intake/exhaust). RX has a few though is currently in need of new coolant seals.
