Finished my gauge/audio panel today.

I CNC cut a fascia panel to hide the mounting screws. I used polycarbonate as that's what I had laying about, so have spent the last few days painting that to get a nice gloss black finish.. today it went on, along with some decals I made up to label the switchgear.

Quite chuffed with how it's turned out.

Have had my 1.8 Sport for a couple of weeks now, she is very standard apart from the added chrome bits from the previous lady owner. I am going to enjoy the summer and then go for some work through the winter sorting the rust and maybe a few mods, hope you like the pics.

Here's my new car and my first MX5 (and my first two seater sports car)!
Looking forward to chatting with you all. Oh and getting hold of a vinyl numberplate, my first purchase I think biggrin
Just found out it's an 'RS'. That's nice I guess!

Purchased in January, I've been making the most of the summer with the roof down. Unfortunate today but she looks good in the rain.

Can't tell in the picture but the paint is a really nice pearlescent blue which looks amazing in the sun (when clean!)

Newly purchased. Frankly no 15 year old car has a right to be in this good condition.

60k miles. Cambelt recently done. Sills recently done and waxoyled (really well done too). Alloys just refurbished. Garaged all its life and only used as a hardtop - the hood is mint.

I think I got rather lucky with this one! probably should have done some more research on values beforehand but I'm happy with it!

These pictures would be perfect...if the roof was off!

My excuses are as follows:

1) It was wet.

2) The zip is broken on the rear glass window, so it takes forever to put back up.

3) I forgot a hat. I don't look good in this car, even less so with a thick mop of hair flopping around!

Summary = I'm a wimp! biggrinbiggrin

Got a remap the other day after fitting the reduction pulley on the supercharger. Now running 225bhp.

I think I need a new battery tho, this one isn't holding it's charge

Just picked this up yesterday. First 2 seater and first smaller car appart from brief ownership of an original mini.
Must say these are so fun to drive and all within speed limit. Makes my 330i seem lardy.
Wish i had done it sooner, literally couldn't wipe the smile of my face every time i've drove it.
