Mrs Hammerheads 1.8i Icon.

It has been the perfect little pocket rocket with its 6spd box and lsd. It's also amply demonstrated that you don't need a bazillion horsepower to put a smile on your face smile

Last few weeks with us now - new 2.0 Sport Tech on the way. Yippee!
ooooh care to bring it round when it arrives chap?

they claim 5.5 to 60 but im not conviced and havent had a chance to test it properly yet as i only got it on the road late last year, but from the 1000 miles iv done in it, its certainly is alot of fun to dive biggrin

The engine dyno'd at 107 which isnt to bad for the stock 1.6.

Here's My Little, GM motivated Pocket Rocket in Video

And NO you Don't need a Bizzilion Horsepower to have Fun, I campaigned my Miata with the 1.8 4 cylinder in competition on Roadracing courses and Auto-X for years and always had a Great Time! That said, BE WARNED; once you Do have a Bizzilion Horsepower, you will never want to go back.

Hope you find it as interesting to See as I find it to Drive!

I used to own a 944 but to be honest, I'd rather be driving a '5!
They're fighters in their own league, globaly taken i agree (if i had to choose just one.....) but i believe they complement each other perfectly, 944 is a more comfortable, practical car a bit more of a GT, the 5 is a real little sportscar, nimble ,open, lighter ,nice balance....
As a duo i blelieve it's perfect.(for my budget that is...)

Hi thought i would join i and show off my Mx-5 1.8 euphonic edition. I have owned it for a year and now changing it for a subaru impreza. i have really enjoying owning it and even took it to Mallory Park for the Mx-5 owners club National meet last september.

Picked this up last night -

A 94' 1.8 V-special with tan leather.

The best bit about it is this though -

Possibly a mazdaspeed converted car (b-spec) and from what ive read on the net looks to be a early mp45 supercharger, stand to be corrected however as i dont know much about these.

Chuffed to bits with it!

That looks fantastic! Very nice car the RS-Limited, I would love one! Just out of interest do you run without the centre caps so they don't get half-inched? If thats the case, I probably ought to take mine off!

As much as superchargers and turbos sound great...nothing in the MX5 world beats throttle bodies or carbs for aural pleasure.

I bet that makes an epic noise!

I like a lot.

Bought from a fellow PH'er at the start of March, had my first opportunity to get some decent shots last night while roof down in London for the night - 1 month gone & I think I've clocked up well over 2,500 miles already...She's taken it all in her stride beautifully, arguably better than my old one.

Taken earlier in the month when me & a chum (The Accord) went for a drive together along our gorgeous coast

It's going to be a very good summer boys & girls...
