I went over to see a mate on Sunday, and being the legend that he is he offered to do a bit of detailing on my car
We spent most of the day avoiding running in and out of his house to avoid the rain but we got there in the end and I have to say he did an amazing job! Unfortunately my journey home was 50 miles of wet motorways and dual carriageways so the car was pretty filthy when I got home but today I've got my arse in gear and given her a wash down so you can see the results
And a reflection shot from the bonnet (excuse the dust on the lens)

I've only had it 18 months.
And suddenly realised I don't have a picture of it in this thread!!!
So in true overkill fasion - here's a few.
Still after 18 months got a few things to sort - need some new wheels - these ones are horribly horribly kerbed - after seeing Di's above with white and white - I now can't decide if I want white wheels or black ones!
Need some new tyres. (i've not needed them for 18 months - this is a recent problem)
And I need some new suspension.

I hate mine, boot does not stay up without me holding it, just too heavy
Have more faith in your Mazda - they thought of everything! Open the boot, look at the long springs that run across the boot. There's 3 notches for the springs/torsion bars, I bet yours needs adjusting. If you move the spring ends up one notch, it tensions the spring so the boot stays open with the extra weight of the spoiler! Dan_1981 said:

Used to be a Honda boy through and through, but here's my current steed

Would absolutely love to lower it a touch but as I'm all over London every day it's kind of liberating to be able to do speedbumps without scraping things, like my old Prelude did.
Am seriously considering some new alloys too...possibly anthracite 15" Rota RBs or circuit 8s with a polished lip, but perversely I'm enjoying how little grip those tiddly 14" wheels have!
Also quite want a pretty little nardi or momo wheel instead of the big plastic Mazda one it's got...but not sure whether I'll get around to it before it's time to shift the car on.
